Belts
With age, the unit can suffer from loading problems caused by the loading belt. Replace if possible.
DEW sensor
The 6000 has a dew sensor to check that the conditions are not too humid for correct opperation.
This was quite common for Sanyo units but sometimes had the effect of being overly cautious and
disabled the unit in relatively normal conditions.
