|   SL-T6PS timer controls 
 | The SL-T6 was the PAL/SECAM version of the SL-C6. 
There were two versions, the SL-T6ME (shown above) and the SL-T6PS. The main difference between the two was the finish. 
They both came with a wireless remote as standard unlike the C6 which used a wired remote. 
The SL-T6, like the SL-C6 was Sony's attempt at a mass market machine. It had basic features but looked very stylish. Both were introduced in 1982 and differed mainly in the cosmetics of the front panel. Like the SL-C6, internally these machines used a similar mechanism as used in the SL-C7 which meant that they were quite heavy at 14.5kg.   SL-T6ME front
