I'm looking for a power supply unit for a Sony BVM2011P or BVM2010P I think other BVM PSU's will fit as well. Also SDI card for these monitors.

Question:

How do I get good svideo quality output from my sony bvw300ap? I thought that a va500 (playback adapter) would do the trick but turns out that that has 2x bnc. so;1. can i combine the 2 bncs to create seperate Y/C channels that can be converted to svideo cable. Would that work?2. if not, will BNC-BNC provide full quality? I assumed it was same quality as composite just different connectors.3. Is there another way?4. there is also UHF (RF), i assume thats rubbish quality....

I am looking either for a used SONY J30 SDI or SONY BVW-22 PAL.

DESPERATE for 3dbank.com/cyberlink's DV LOOPS collections.

Will pay money, dont care if they are copies or whatever.

I own a Sony SEG-2550P Vision Mixer/Switcher and the unit appears to have 2 problems.

The first problem is that in vision there are some 'flashing lines' visible down the left side of the video image. The lines are thin and move fast, akin to the 'hot spots' associated with analogue satellite dish reception, when the dish is not aligned correctly.

The lines are faint and in colour, they appear are the same colour as the video that is on the screen and they appear more like 'interference with the video signal than actual lines.

I do notice that if I reduce the video level of the source, the problem appears to be eliminated, but this is not a long term solution as I would not be able to operate at the correct and full 1 volt Peak To Peak levels.

For those who are familiar with the unit, I think the problem is probably in the processing of the SY-41 circuit board.

The second problem with this particular unit is that neither M/E 0 or M/E 1 will perform a Mix transition when the T-Bar is operated. Instead the images just cut from source to source. I am probably doing something wrong here, particularly as BOTH M/E's appear to be 'faulty'.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
